Kevin and I are so excited to share the big news!  As many of you already know, Kevin and I are expecting a baby boy in late October.  We are thrilled for him to join our growing family!!!  Here are some pictures of our growing little boy.

We can't wait to introduce you all to Jacob Steven Kissel!!!  We are having so much fun getting ready for our baby boy to arrive.  Everyday is new and different.  Today he is moving around a lot.  I think he's excited that we started our new blog!!!
I went to get an ultrasound today and they said Jacob is doing great and the doctor said his head is down and he's thinking about coming out!!! I'm going to keep resting and today I'm going to make brownies!!!

Kevin and I had originally wanted to travel to Iowa for a baby shower and to visit all of our friends and family up there.  We have recently been told by the doctor that I am on bed rest for the remaining weeks of my pregnancy.  With that being said, we will be unable to travel to Iowa before Jacob is born...

My mom and sisters have decided that to throw me an online baby shower.  I'm so excited that we are still able to celebrate Jacob coming even though we are unable to come to Iowa.  

So keep tuned for an invite to my online baby shower from my family in Iowa!!! I'm looking forward to having it!!!

Dear Family and Friends,
 
Kevin and I are excited to share our new blog with all of you.  Since we have family and friends who live all over we wanted to share life's most exciting events with you.

Kevin and I are living in San Antonio, Texas.  We have a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood in the city.

Kevin and I are huge animal lovers and wanted to bring a furry critter into our home.  We started our family by rescuing Addy, the cutest little kitten ever.  She was found in a dumpster in San Antonio and we just had to have her.

Not to long after Addy came into our house we decided it was time for another furry friend.  After begging Kevin (which took all of two seconds) we rescued Byerly.  Byerly was found stranded with his brothers and sisters and we found him at an Adopt a Dog day!!!  He was the only one not crying so we knew he was ours!!! HE is the cutest terrier in Texas!!!

We decided that if we were going to grow our family by adding a non furry family member that we'd better get Byerly a puppy playmate.  So when we heard about a puppy that was living in a house with 50 other animals and being tormented by her neighbors, we knew we had to help.  We brought Annie home to live with our growing family.  She is a terrier mix who immediately fell in love with Byerly.  They are such a happy pair!!!
